OBSID in November 2022

Working to make places for people

November 2022 was a busy month for the OBSID team.  Read on to see what we’ve been up to:

Public safety:

Theft (from outdoor areas and cars) remains our biggest challenge with regards crime in Observatory.  We beleive there is a link between this and the fact that the community is often careless with their belongings and property, as shown by the high number of proactive actions taken by the OBSID public safety team each month – making themselves targets.

Please help us – make sure your car is locked, don’t leave anything visible in your car and keep house gates and garage doors locked.

Urban management:

Another busy month!  …

Social development:

Our informally housed community continues to access services from our social development team.

We hope you enjoyed this update!  You’re welcome to get in touch with us if you have any questions, comments or compliments.  You can reach us on 021 448 7090 or [email protected].
